
The filling and packaging machine is designed to organize a continuous cycle of packaging by volumetric dosing of liquid and paste-like products (shampoo, gel, juice, medical preparations) and pack them into portioned packaging of the “sachet” type (sachet package) made of polymer films (polypropylene, duplex, triplex, laminated paper).
The equipment consists of a horizontal packaging machine and a volumetric liquid dispenser.
The machine for packaging liquids and pastes in a sachet package operates in a horizontal position, which structurally allows for different sizes of sachet packages, to obtain the dose volume as accurately as possible and to have a high-quality sealed package.

Description of work.
The suction pipe of the volumetric piston dispenser is placed in a container with the dosing liquid (substance), from where it is taken for packaging. The container size can be arbitrary and is determined solely by the operator’s needs.
When receiving a signal from the microcontroller of the horizontal packaging machine control unit, the pneumatic drives pull the rod out of the graduated cylinder. As a result of the vacuum, the liquid to be packaged moves into the graduated cylinder through the suction pipe. The dose size is regulated by mechanically adjusting the length of the cylinder rod movement (see the operating manual).
When reaching the end point (the place of mechanical limitation), the packaging machine control unit switches the pneumatic drives to reverse, pressing the rod into the graduated cylinder and compressing the liquid inside it. When compressed, the liquid that has filled the filling cylinder is squeezed out through the dispensing pipe into the sachet packaging formed around it. After dispensing a dose of the product, the microcontroller again sends a signal to the pneumatic drives to pull the rod, and activates the soldering unit. The soldering unit uses the principle of constant heating and in one step simultaneously seals the top seam of the filled sachet package, the bottom and side seams of the next sachet package with the “Euroche” type of seam.
At the moment of sealing the sachet package, the package clamping unit shifts horizontally by the package length set by the sensor. The clamping and film pulling unit, without unclenching, pulls the packaging film behind itself. The reel is unwound and the packaging material is rolled up through the sachet package former.
While the pulling unit has reached the extreme point, the filled sachet package is separated by cutting the packaging film with a mechanical knife. At this time, the control unit sends a command to open another filled dosing cavity and dispense its contents into a new sachet package, unclamps the heating sealing pads and moves them to seal the next sachet package. The separated package falls on the floor, into a special container (box) or onto a discharge conveyor.
Additionally, a microcontroller is installed in the control unit of the filling machine, which monitors emergency situations of the automatic packer and volumetric liquid dispenser: end or rupture of the roll of packaging material, pinching of the portion, etc.
Peculiarities.
The automatic filling and packaging machine of the “sachet” series, model AF-35-SGG, is optimal for filling small doses of liquids and pastes (shampoo, gel, juice, medicines, etc.), as well as packaging them in polymeric materials (duplex, triplex, laminated paper).
With the help of this filling machine, you can get a 3- or 4-seam package in the form of a square or rectangular pillow-shaped bag (Sachet), used in many catering establishments (cafes, restaurants, gas stations). This horizontal packaging machine, using a volumetric method of dosing liquid products in its work, is universal, but has restrictions on the change of the packaged products.
The horizontal filling machine is placed on a flat surface, in a room with a temperature of 5 to 25 degrees, and humidity of no more than 60%. The installation has limitations on the width of the packaging film used and the height of the formed sachet packaging, specified in the technical specifications. It is possible to manufacture a filling and packaging machine with individual parameters.
The packaging machine is available in models AF-35-SG3G, AF-35-SG4G. They differ from each other in the number of vertical seams on the package: in AF-35-SG3G – 3 seams, and in AF-35-SG4G – 4 vertical sealed seams.
