The packaging machine is designed to organize a continuous cycle of packaging by volumetric dosing of bulk products (sugar, salt, pepper, instant coffee and 3 in 1, tea) and packing them in portioned sachet-type packaging (sachet package) made of polymer films (polypropylene, duplex, triplex, laminated paper, nylon, filter paper).

The equipment consists of a packaging machine and a volumetric pendulum dispenser.

The most cost-effective and easy-to-maintain model of packaging equipment, with a capacity of up to 1800 sachet-type packages.

Characteristics.

* The performance of the equipment depends on the dose volume, the properties of the product being dosed, the properties of the packaging material and the length of the package.

** To ensure the operation of the pneumatic drives of this packaging machine, a compressor is required (not included in the standard package).

Description of work.

The storage bin, fixed on the shaft, oscillates horizontally with the help of a pneumatic drive. As a result of such oscillating movements, the neck of the bin moves like a “pendulum”, from one dosing cavity to another and back. When the neck of the bin reaches the dosing cavity, the packaged product is poured through the neck of the storage bin into such a cavity, after which the neck moves to fill the opposite dosing cavity.

When receiving a signal from the control unit, the filled cavity opens, pouring out its dosing contents into the receiving funnel and then into the tube, on which, using a triangle, the packaging film is folded into a half-sleeve, with one or two sealed vertical seams and a lower horizontal seam (3- or 4-seam packaging in the form of a “sachet”). Spilling through the tube, the packaged product fills the formed sachet packaging.

After dispensing a measured dose of the packaged product, the electronic control unit of the automatic packaging machine sends a command to the pneumatic drive, which returns the hopper neck back, filling the emptied dosing cavity with the next portion of the packaged product, and activates the sealing unit of the packer. The sealing unit operates with the help of a constantly maintained surface temperature of the sealing pads and seals the top seam of the filled sachet package, the bottom and side seams of the next sachet package with a “euro-roll” type of seam.

At the moment of sealing the sachet package, the horizontal heating elements (welding pads) of the sealing unit are shifted downwards by the length of the package set by the sensor. Since the welding heating elements move downwards without unclenching, they pull the packaging film along with them. The reel is unwound and the packaging material is rolled up, through the sachet packaging former (triangle), into a half-sleeve around the guide tube.

While the carriage has reached the bottom point, the filled sachet packaging is separated by cutting the packaging film with a mechanical toothed or straight knife. At this time, the control unit gives a command to open another filled dosing cavity and pour its contents into a new sachet package, unclamps the heating sealing pads and moves them up to seal the next sachet packaging. The separated packaging falls on the floor, into a special container (box) or onto a discharge conveyor.

Additionally, a microcontroller is installed in the control unit of the filling machine, which monitors emergency situations of the automatic packer and volumetric dispenser: end or rupture of the roll of packaging material, pinching of the portion, etc.

Peculiarities.

The automatic packaging machine of the “sachet” series, model AF-35-SO, is optimal for packaging small free-flowing products that can evenly and quickly fill measuring containers (salt, pepper, sugar, tea, granulated and freeze-dried coffee, 3-in-1 coffee), as well as packaging them in polymer films (polypropylene, duplex, triplex, laminated paper, laminated nylon, filter paper).

The use of this packaging machine in operation allows you to get a 3- or 4-seam package in the form of a square or rectangular bag (sachet bag, sachet, sachet bag, Sachet), used in many catering establishments (cafes, restaurants, gas stations).

This packaging machine, using a volumetric dosing method in its work, is not universal and has limitations on the change of the packaged product by volume.

The packaging machine is placed indoors and requires floor placement. The unit has limitations on the width of the packaging film used and the height of the formed sachet packaging, specified in the technical specifications. It is possible to manufacture a packaging machine with individual parameters.

The packaging machine is available in models AF-35-S3O, AF-35-S4O. They differ from each other in the number of vertical seams on the package: in AF-35-S3O – 3 seams, and in AF-35-S4O – 4 vertical sealed seams.
